Whittington Kinley

Whittington Kinley is an attorney with a unique blend of legal and technical expertise. Whitt’s journey toward law was sparked by his early experience working in a professional recording studio in Chicago, Illinois, where he encountered the complexities of copyright, licensing, and contract disputes. This experience inspired him to attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he studied Music Business and Computer Science, graduating with honors. After undergrad, Whitt worked for four years as a software engineer, building a solid technical foundation before returning to school. He went on to earn a JD and an MBA from the University of Utah, graduating cum laude with an Intellectual Property Specialization certificate.

At Hepworth Legal, Whitt focuses on Civil Litigation, with additional interests in intellectual property, corporate, and employment law. A background in tech, business, and law enables Whitt to analyze and approach legal challenges from a unique perspective. Whitt is committed to providing innovative, tailored solutions aligning with each client’s needs.

Outside the office, Whitt enjoys competing in Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournaments, traveling abroad, attending metal concerts, snowboarding, and coding.
