Biography
Traci is both a real estate sales agent and real estate attorney with nearly twenty years of experience. Her real estate sales focus on single family residences in Draper and the south Salt Lake valley area. Her law practice covers a broad array of real estate topics, including planning and zoning issues, real estate licensing and ethics rules, and handling landlord/tenant disputes.
From 2001 to 2008, Traci started her career as an associate attorney for civil litigation law firms located in Salt Lake City and Indianapolis. In 2008, she left private practice to work as an Assistant Attorney General representing the Utah Division of Real Estate against real estate professionals who had committed crimes or other ethical misconduct. Within three years of doing government prosecution for the State, Traci was appointed by Utah Governor Gary Herbert as Director of the Utah Division of Consumer Protection, where she managed a small government agency.
Starting in 2013, Traci left government work to stay at home with her two young children. Within a year, Traci renewed her law license, obtained her sales agent license, and started a part time practice doing real estate law and sales. Since that time, she has served as a Draper Planning & Zoning Commissioner, and as a residential tax appeal hearing officer for Salt Lake County starting in 2019. Beginning in the summer of 2020 she will also serve as a Third District Bar Commissioner with the Utah State Bar Association. Traci was educated at BYU and Pepperdine University.
